General
Regular intensive care of a hand-made carpet maintains its fine features through time. Hand-made carpets need regular care and maintenance.
You should, therefore, take advantage of a sunny day to clean your carpets: make sure you are properly equipped and get going!
The usual way to clean hand-made carpets is to use white vinegar.
This makes colours brighter and disinfects the carpet. It is a simple task and can be undertaken at home.
However, deep cleaning should be left to the experts and should take place every 4-5 years.
The Service Department of our company not only washes and maintains your carpets, but also provides carpet mending services.

TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION AGAINST STAINS
WOOLEN CARPETS
Remove stains with absorbent tissue paper and then apply the materials listed below using a clean cloth; always start from the edge to the centre of the stain following the direction of the grain.
USE THE WHITE CLOTH TEST FIRST.
Never wet the carpet more than necessary.
After cleaning it, dry the carpet using a hair dryer.
SILK CARPETS
Wipe the stain well using an absorbent cloth.
Rub the stained spot in the direction of the grain using a piece of clean, soft natural leather, soaked in a solution of white vinegar (one part vinegar in three parts of cold water) and wrung thoroughly.
Dry the cleaned carpet using a hair dryer and finish by ‘polishing’ its surface with a piece of clean dry leather; always follow the direction of the grain. Before attempting to remove the stain, USE THE WHITE CLOTH TEST.
